B Pole Brace
- Used in aerial construction as a connector between two utility poles where one pole is intended as a brace (support) for the other pole.
- Consists of two galvanized ductile iron plates assembled with a 3/4″ x 5-1/2″ machine bolt/nut, and a cotter pin.
- When bracing to a parallel pole, a second 3/4″ bolt set should be installed into Pole Brace
- All components are hot dip galvanized to meet ASTM Specification F2329.

Description
The B Pole Brace (also known as Push Pole Brace or Pole Brace Connector Bracket) is a robust, galvanized ductile iron hardware component used in overhead power line and utility pole construction.
It serves as a critical connector to link two utility poles together, where one pole acts as a diagonal brace or push support for the other, providing additional stability when traditional tension guying is not possible or practical.
Featuring two curved plates with integral teeth for secure grip and even load distribution, it accommodates attachment angles up to 90 degrees and is assembled with machine bolts, nuts, and cotter pins for reliable installation. This brace enhances structural integrity against lateral forces, making it ideal for dead-end configurations, corner poles, or areas with limited space for guy wires.
